Los Angeles, CA – February 8, 2016 – NBC’s The Voice winner JORDAN SMITH has signed a worldwide management deal with Sam Feldman and Steve Macklam of Macklam Feldman Management.
Jordan Smith astonished audiences of The Voice this past season with his incredible vocal range. He broke records on the show for being The Voice’s biggest seller with 1.2 million tracks sold to date and 50,000 albums sold of his Voice compilation CD Jordan Smith: The Complete Season 9 Collection. Jordan Smith became the first artist from any season of The Voice to hit the iTunes Top 10 every single week of the Live Rounds, with a total of 8 songs in the Top 10 on the iTunes chart —the most of any artist on The Voice. He also became one of two Voice artists to notch three number ones on iTunes charts during the show’s season. Smith is also the first act to own both the #1 and #2 titles concurrently on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs Chart.
“Jordan is an extraordinary individual with one of the best voices in the world,” said Sam Feldman. “More importantly, he has a voice that moves people every time he sings. We are very privileged to be working with him.”
Steve Macklam said, “Jordan is such a rare and gifted artist. He has already captured the hearts of so many and he has only just begun! We couldn’t be more excited to be working together.”
“The team at Macklam Feldman Management is truly unmatched and I couldn’t be more excited to work alongside them. The best is yet to come,” said Smith.
Mentored by judge/coach Adam Levine, Smith continuously surprised the panel and audiences with his ability to interpret everyone from Béyonce to Leonard Cohen. He is currently working in the studio on his debut album with Republic Records to be released this spring.
